Tianna Holmes
I liked this project because this is something that was actually amusing and i like to blog and make up things without having guidelines. It was something i could kind of relate to. I also liked it because i liked learning about the Vietnam war. It's admirable to know that people risked their lives for us. I don't really think anything should be changed about this project because it was interesting. I learned that being drafted to war was and is a lot more serious than i thought it was before i read all the facts and stories. The choices people had to make and things they went through were life changing.

Jessica Delazari's Reflection
My name is Jessica Delazari and i enjoyed this project because i love learning about war in Vietnam and knowing that so many people suffred from this war when in reality it was completley pointless. What i liked the most of this project was the research because i learned even more about this. The thing i didnt like the most is that this was all real and it really happend. I learned how too use a blog write in it and use it in the future.

Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today - Ya
Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today
Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me, so you can see
Oh, what's going on
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Ah, what's going on
In the mean time
Right on, baby
Right on
Right on
Father, father, everybody thinks we're wrong
Oh, but who are they to judge us
Simply because our hair is long
Oh, you know we've got to find a way
To bring some understanding here today
Oh
Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me
So you can see
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Tell me what's going on
I'll tell you what's going on - Uh
Right on baby
Right on baby

War just isn't for me...
I received a draft notice...into the Vietnam war. I had mixed feelings. My first thoughts were... why me? What did i do to deserve this? Why do i have to risk MY life? I'm too young to die. Maybe they made a mistake. What am i even fighting for? Then i thought i should be brave. Its my duty to serve my country. I really..have no choice. I'll be fine..just fine...i hope. I need to man up. Is it worth it? I mean, even if i didn't want to go, i Have to. I know war just isn't for me. I'm not the right candidate for this type of thing... I think this is gonna be the hardest thing I've EVER had to do.
Who I Am
Hola, me llamo Julio Jones
I'm from Long Island, New York
My mom is from Puerto Rico and my dad is from Jamaica
I am blessed to have a big family of 9 brothers and sisters
I graduated high school with a 3.9 and hope one day to attend Colombia University
I am employed at Jo's AC Repair it doesn't pay much but its enough to get by for now
My father just lost his job and i am trying to help my parents support my family so we can eventually move into a bigger apartment then maybe some of us can actually sleep in a bed
This is my life now but it is soon going to change because i recently received a draft notice to the
Vietnam war
Now I'm sure everything is going to be different and I'm not too sure i like it
